Mountain Day is here!
Join us Saturday, January 24, at Wisp Resort for a day of skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and winter merriment with your Surfrider pals.
This is a low-key event, so you're on your own for lift tickets, nosh, and so on, but we will gather in the lodge at 10:30 and 1:30 to meet and greet. Feel free to bring friends, family, and smiling strangers.
Wisp is in Garrett County, Maryland, near Deep Creek Lake, and about 3 hours from DC. For more info about Wisp, including snow reports, lessons & rentals, and directions, visit www.skiwisp.com.

East of Maui in Annapolis is hooking us up with rental and retail specials:
Show your Surfrider membership card and rent a snowboard for $15 for the day or twin tip skis for $25. Or receive a 30% discount off of any clothing or accessories now through Saturday.

Hey--Adam here. I am interested in going but I also have some friends going on Sunday. I'm in Dupont Circle--anyone else from the District thinking about going?
