Come join the fun and boost Surfrider's profile by volunteering at our chapter's water stop at the 4th Annual SunTrust National Marathon in D.C. Saturday, March 21 from 7 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
The plan: Greet the 8,000 or so runners from around the country who will pass by the stop with a large, super-stoked crew of D.C. Surfriders in Hawaiian shirts and leis, backed up by a fake palm tree and some surf tunes. The stop will be at the entrance to Anacostia Park, on the Anacostia River across from Nationals Park. Metro stop: Anacostia (it's the next stop after Navy Yard on the Green Line).
We're hoping to get at least 9 volunteers, but more would be awesome. Sign up at the link below (a backup link is included).
